Hot Gas Path Inspection completed with full customer satisfaction in Kurdistan - IQ

Errigal energy team completed the 2x GE Frame 9E HGPI including Brush inspection of one generator unit with bearing replacement and full turbine / generator alignment. The outage duration was 14 days for each unit including generator services.
Errigal energy was contracted by Mass Group Holding to carry out the service. Errigal Energy was given a very short notice for team mobilization and service start up. Our professional team of turbine experts completed the full scope of the work proposed on time with high level of customer satisfaction and appreciation.
During the HGPI, full hot path hardware was inspected and replaced. The replaced set was sent to the repair workshop for repair to make it ready for next running cycle.
Trouble shooting was carried out on generator’s Brush due to unavailability of suitable shaft lifting service to enable breakaway. After full inspections the bearing lift hoses and lube oil hoses failed during the pressure test and were replaced. Due to lack of lift also white metal from bearing were affected and the 2 generator bearings were replaced.
The torque converter of one of the units was replaced as per the customer maintenance schedule and full internal re-alignment for auxiliary skid was performed.
